God Is My Superhero #2

The first superpower I would like to discuss is that He is omnipresent.

This means that He is everywhere all the time. He doesn’t have to transport/teleport anywhere, because He’s already there. I don’t have to wait on Him to get here. He has been here the whole time. He is with people on the other side of the globe at the same time that He is with me here.

God is also known as Jehovah Shammah (Ezekiel 48:35), which means “”the Lord is there”.

I cannot go anywhere that He is not. I cannot hide from Him. Even if it feels like it sometimes, He never leaves. He doesn’t take vacation. My circumstances can’t change this fact. I’m not one for absolutes, but this one I can count on. He is with me 24/7/365. All the time.

What a comfort to serve a God that is always with me everywhere.

‘Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.” ‘ Deuteronomy 31:6 https://my.bible.com/bible/1588/DEU.31.6 AMP

‘“Can anyone hide himself in secret places So that I cannot see him?” says the Lord . “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord . ‘ Jeremiah 23:24 https://my.bible.com/bible/1588/JER.23.24 AMP

‘Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. ‘ Psalms 139:7-10 https://my.bible.com/bible/111/PSA.139.7-10
