The next writing prompt in “God Is My Happy Place” is

As I started thinking on this, the first line of the following poem came to mind and just stayed there until I wrote it down. Once I wrote it down, the rest just came out. Thank you, Lord for your words.

Gentle like butterfly wings
Gracefully gliding through the air
Not a sound to be heard
Flitting to and fro
Landing so lightly
No one’s upset it’s there
Acting calmly in return
Slowly interacting with the creature
No rash movements
Parting ways in peace
No ruffled feathers
No harsh words
But a simple gentle moment
Touching life more effectively than hostility
