Tomorrow starts a new phase of my job. I started on August 28, 2017. Went through 8 days of computer-based learning, where I worked through computer modules. Then I worked through technical training, where I learned 4 specific tasks that I would be doing.
I don’t want to leave out the group that I went through training with. They have all done an amazing job. We also had amazing trainers who have prepared us for the job at hand.
Tomorrow we start PTV or Post Training Validation. We will begin on the job testing of what we have learned. This will last for the next 8 workdays.
I have a lot of mixed emotions about this. I am nervous about doing well. We have made it through so much training and now we will be doing it for real. It feels like tomorrow is a graduation of sorts.
I’m excited that we have finally gotten our own cubicles and get to set up our own space.
Another feeling I have is the peace that God has given me about this job. I believe that He has led me to the door and opened it. He has helped me to get through all of the training. This peace brings a level of confidence that things will go well. I know God has great plans. I believe that this is part of His plan. I feel like it is a place that I can make a home at for as long as God allows it.
It’s been an incredible month. I’m ready to see what the next month holds. So at this point, all that is left to do is keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep trying.
